HELP: Default format to simplify row specifications [ORG] TYPE: NUMBER SYNTAX: FORMAT=FIX/LFD/DLM/VAR/CSV/TVD/XML
This selection is used to define a base input format for a table to simplify the corresponding row specifications. If a default format is specified, then only the columns which differ from the defaults must describe theses differences.
The format VAR is only useful and possible when reading from memory. An error occurs on attempts to read this format from a file.
FIX - Read fixed length record (length and type must be provided)LFD - Read variable length elements based on default (S2X) length fields (type must be provided)DLM - Read variable length elements separated by default delimiter (strings required)VAR - Read variable length elements as length pointer structure (only at read from memory)CSV - Read a comma separated value stream (spread sheet)TVD - Read a tag value delimiter text streamXML - Read a XML (Extensible Markup Language) stream
