Synopsis

HELP:   Decryption using passwords
TYPE:   OBJECT
SYNTAX: PWD/PASSWORD(PASSWORD/DATAPW/DATPW/DAT/PW='bin'/DEFAULT)

Description

The object can be used to provide a password for reading. This involves going through all encrypted keysets (FKMCs) and trying the password for all encrypted keys. If the decryption has worked, the access rights (data, member, directory (possibly limited)) that result for this password on the first hit apply.

Arguments

• STRING: PASSWORD/DATAPW/DATPW/DAT/PW='bin'/DEFAULT - Passphrase to access the data (decrypt the directory, member and data key)
  • DEFAULT - FLAM5 default password
